We stayed two nights and had fantastic service. Dal at the front desk was very informative and more than happy to answer our questions. I believe Derek was the manager, and he made the rest of check-in smooth and helped with our bags. Molly at the bar was great too, with quick, good drinks. She makes a lovely espresso martini.

We stayed last night for an event at the town hall, directly opposite, and had no complaints. Check-in was smooth, the room was clean and spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were lovely, especially the woman working breakfast this morning. The car park was full, but there's a large pay-and-display lot opposite, free from 6 p.m. and all day Sunday. Breakfast was good too, especially for an express hotel. Definitely recommend. This is the nicest Holiday Inn I've stayed in.

The hotel was easy to find your way around, nicely decorated and very clean, and the staff were lovely and friendly. We arrived with a coach group for one night, and everything was organised, with our rooms and keys ready. Our twin room was spotless and had everything we needed. The buffet breakfast was well presented, and we couldn't fault our three-course evening meal 😋. I'd happily return and highly recommend it.

The rooms were clean and presentable, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was amazing, and they even let you pack some to take away for lunch if you wanted. Just bear in mind that parking costs £2.50 per day.

The staff were so friendly and happy to help with anything. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is right in the centre, with pubs just a few minutes away on foot; we tried The Kings around the corner, a busy place with very reasonable prices. Our room was lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had tea and coffee facilities and toiletries. We were there for one night on a coach trip with friends. Dinner was lovely, with soup and a roll to start, a steak pie packed with steak, then chocolate fudge cake. Breakfast was self-service and had plenty of choice.
