Loved the little extras in the room, especially the cereal, yogurts and milk. The staff were great, and the rooms were spacious and clean. There’s a nice outdoor seating area at the pub, plus a small guest lobby with a coffee machine. It’s a beautiful place. I’d definitely recommend it and come back.

We stayed overnight on Daves day and felt welcome right away. The staff and locals were so friendly. Our room was furnished to a high standard and had everything we needed, so we’ve already booked again for the beginning of August to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The room I got was fantastic, and the receptionist clearly explained and showed me everything I needed to know. Red Lion is a great traditional English pub, with about eight rooms above the bar. The location was amazing too. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room was impressively clean, and the facilities were modern and good. The pub itself is nice, and the bar staff are lovely. The mattress wasn’t great, though, and the door lock was broken and awkward to use. Still decent value, and I’d stay again if I were in the area.
