Travelodge Basingstoke

Tom made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. He was so welcoming and really good at his job. The rooms were spotless, and the whole stay felt comfortable and relaxing. We’d happily come back to Travelodge Basingstoke.

Good value, with a pleasant, clean basic room that had everything we needed: a bath or shower, toiletries, towels, Freeview TV, and tea and coffee facilities. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I’d definitely stay again when I’m in the area.

We’ll miss everyone when we leave. There’s such a lovely family atmosphere, and I’ve never stayed anywhere better. Sharon and her team have been incredibly kind and hospitable while we’re here because of a house fire. They’ve worked so hard to make sure my family and my dogs, who were trapped in the fire, are happy. The staff’s love of dogs really shines through. The rooms and service are far beyond excellent. You won’t find a friendlier hotel. Highly recommend.

Friendly receptionist and a clean room. The two full-size kids’ beds were much better than a pull-out sofa bed. There was a TV, fan, kettle and teabags, but no iron or hairdryer. I imagine you can request those.
