The man said they were booked until July, even though I was asking about August. He hadn't asked which dates I wanted before telling me the hotel was full. When I pointed that out, he basically hung up. Very, very rude.

After a house flood, my family stayed for a week. The manager let us use the self-contained cottage out back since it was free, instead of putting us in two rooms. They also set up two travel cots for my twins. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful, and gave us information about food times and anything else we asked or needed.

Dawn made me and my dog feel welcome and looked after, which meant a lot as I was travelling alone. She couldn't have done more for us, and we had some laughs too. The hotel and room were cleaned to a high standard. We both really enjoyed our one-night stay.

We arrived at 9pm a day early, and the hotel gave us a reduced rate for that extra night. The staff were very welcoming, the room was clean and tidy, and they sorted out any issues quickly. The parking area has CCTV for extra security. Highly recommended.

The room was clean and tidy, and the receptionist was friendly. It was cheap, but the place felt much more like a hostel than a hotel. They require ID, and you have to leave your room key when you go out. We won't be back.
