⚠️ WARNING: SCAM Apartment ⚠️ Avoid booking this apartment. I reserved a stay through Vrbo, then the host account messaged me straight away, saying there’d been a “software problem” and that my card details were for a “zero-value test payment.” They sent a generic external Stripe link to pay outside the platform, then pressured me by text on my personal cell phone, threatening to cancel the trip unless I clicked immediately. A legitimate Vrbo booking shouldn’t be paid off-platform through an external link. Paying that way voids your traveler protections. Avoid at all costs.
