The food was awesome, and they bring it right to your pod on a tray. We had a great stay and would recommend it. Our pod was basic, as we'd expected, but cosy and clean. The hosts were friendly, helpful folks. There was only one shower, so we had to wait a while, though it wasn't a big deal. Thanks, guys! Rob and Andy. Keep up the great work.

The owners were friendly and helpful without getting in our way. We spent two nights on one of the two camping pitches at Brandy House Farm, below some trees on a grassy terrace. Each pitch was tidy, with lovely views towards Felindre and beyond. When we booked in May 2026, it was £15 per person per night. We could pull up close to unload, though the car park was a couple of minutes' walk up the track by the livery centre. It's a working farm, and sheep and lambs grazed near our tent. We heard owls at night and the dawn chorus was tremendous. There are also several camping pods on site. The facilities, about a minute away, include one toilet, one shower, a washing-up sink and an extension lead for charging devices. There's no fridge or freezer. You can get a portable fire pit and firewood if you want. There's no shop on site, but the community shop is a short walk away. The Wharf Inn pub is nearby too, friendly and used to walkers passing through. Glyndwr Way crosses the farm, and there are lots of shorter walks around as well. A peaceful spot for a couple of nights, and we'd stay again.

It was easy to ride straight from the door, and the stables, field and lorry were all close by. The cottage is lovely, with a beautiful garden and hot tub in a great spot. The hay was lovely too. Takeaway food was a real bonus and very good, and yard fairy was an option as well, which felt very spoiling. Medina and Richard were kind and really helpful. There's still so much I want to explore, and I very much hope to return.

I was walking Glyndŵr's Way and the campsite was in an ideal spot. The owner was friendly and accommodating, and found me a pitch away from falling branches in the wind. Facilities were good, with a hot shower, indoor washing-up area and sockets for charging. I didn't try the food, but it looked very nice and good value, a great extra. A kettle in the kitchen would be a small help for saving gas. Such a lovely, quiet place to stay.

The view from the Wild Rose caravan was priceless. I came off Glyndŵr’s Way with tired feet and an empty stomach, and was welcomed, fed and well looked after. The caravan was VERY comfy, with USB chargers, a good heater and a little fridge. There isn't a toilet inside, but one is just steps away. The food was delicious.
