Brackenberry has a wonderful breakfast, with enough to keep you full through the day’s activities. Mary was so welcoming and couldn’t have been nicer to stay with. Her beautiful bed and breakfast feels like stepping into a well-kept Victorian Era time capsule, a lovely change in the modern world. It’s a memory I’ll cherish, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Belfast.

The house and our room were beautiful, and Mary made us feel so welcome. She’s adorable, incredibly friendly, and nothing seems like too much trouble. If you smoke, there are chickens by the fence who’ll come over and chatter with you, which was lovely. A perfect place to stay with a wonderful host. Thank you, Mary 😊

We brought my dad and his wife for a night at Mary’s, and all six of us left very happy. Her home is lovely, clean, and well kept, the area was stunning, and breakfast was lovely too. Mary is such a kind host, and if we get the chance to return, we’ll stay here again. No negatives from us. Thanks again, Mary, keep doing what you’re doing x

Mary made us feel right at home during our six nights at the Brackenberry, and my son loved it. She’s a brilliant host, makes a fantastic breakfast, and checks that guests have what they need. It’s easy to get around the Belfast area from here, and the local neighborhood is cracking. A real Belfast gem, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

This little place outside Belfast city centre is a fantastic find. It’s clean, with traditional décor, and the breakfast is so generous that we didn’t need lunch. Walking back took us about 30 minutes, if you fancy the walk, and a taxi cost no more than £7.00.
