Greenmount Bed & Breakfast

The rooms were spacious and the bedding was high quality. A charming Irish stay, and the host was delightful.

Vivienne was a cheerful, pleasant host, and the place was lovely. I'd happily stay here again.

We got a very friendly welcome from the owner, who helped us after we forgot the check-in time. The bed was heavenly, and both the staff and other guests were friendly. We could keep our beer in the fridge too. It was cheap, and the breakfast wasn't great, but you could eat as much as you wanted, so it was okay for the price. The toilet was tiny. I kept thinking it might break the next time I sat down, but for a night or two, who cares? Greetings from Germany :)

We were impressed by both the price and the quality, especially since we'd booked late and expected to pay more. It's a very good little B&B, and I'd recommend it to family and friends. The rooms have free Wi-Fi and USB charging points, though there's no usual in-room tea or coffee setup. You can use the shared kitchen if you want a hot drink. There's easy access to shops, fast food and public transport along the main road. That location does mean some road noise in the rooms. The building feels a little run down and could use some repairs.
