voco Belfast by IHG

We only spent one night, arriving fairly late, and the front desk staff were really pleasant. Our room on the seventh floor was spacious, with a lovely view and a huge, comfortable bed. Breakfast had plenty to choose from, including good hot dishes, cereal, pastries, fruit, and juice. There wasn’t much right nearby, but town was just a ten-minute walk away.

We slept peacefully throughout our stay because it was so quiet, and everything was kept clean. The room was in great condition, and we were given an upgrade as well as a late checkout. Rebecca welcomed us warmly at reception and walked us through everything. Service was excellent from reception to the restaurant. The food at Pomo was top class, with quality and service that make looking elsewhere for restaurants feel like a waste of time. Dagmar was a delight at dinner, making sure we had everything we wanted. She was full of energy and great to talk to, and even served us after the kitchen had closed when we arrived late one evening. A great investment by Gasworks company and Voco. I’ve always been a regular member and loved my time here. The one thing I’d suggest is adding more amenities, since there’s no gym or other activities. A play area for kids could keep them entertained. All in all, an amazing 5* experience!

The staff made our stay easy and were genuinely attentive to our safety and needs. We were visiting Belfast for the first time as a couple, and this hotel was amazing. It’s within walking distance of the sights. The food was excellent, especially lunch: those were the best sandwiches we’ve ever tasted. The breakfast buffet also had lots of choice. We’d highly recommend it and will stay again when we’re back in Belfast.

The area around the hotel is peaceful, and the location is great. The rooms were excellent, with really comfortable beds, and breakfast was spot on with loads of variety for most people. The staff are lovely and helpful, too. We were worn out from our busy days, so we didn’t try the drinks at the bar, but it’s modern and comfortable with a nice atmosphere. We’re definitely planning to come back.
