Lucker mill house

Laura and Kershwin have been so kind, and I’ve loved my stay here. The rooms are beautiful, immaculate and welcoming, just the touch of luxury I was hoping for. I’ve felt like a queen, and after years of travelling, this is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in outside my own. The fire was superb, the garden beautiful and breakfast lovely. Laura was helpful with places to visit and supported me through a medical emergency. When health issues meant I couldn’t continue on to Scotland, she managed to extend my stay at very short notice, even though they were already busy. I’d recommend this place to anyone wanting a quality stay with kind, friendly hosts. You wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Lucker. Thank you both for your hospitality. I’ll definitely be back.

We stayed in the fisherman's hut with its en suite bathroom, along with our dog, and had a lovely time. The village is so peaceful, and settling in for the night with the log burner on was perfect. Laura was a very pleasant host and even came to the rescue with a booster pack after I’d stupidly left the car lights on all day. It’s a cracking little place. I’ve no doubt we’ll return.

We had a lovely night in one of the Shepherds huts. It was an amazing place, very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Our deal included breakfast and a cream tea with Prosecco. I’d highly recommend it. Thank you, Laura, for a wonderful stay and for being such a lovely host.

Looker is a pleasant little Northumberland village with a pub, and our hosts, who’ve lived locally for a long time, were friendly, responsive and helpful with suggestions. We stayed three nights in November and felt at ease. The property was comfortable, with a nice shared sitting room and a spacious, pleasant garden. Our room was one of three, alongside a Shepherds Hut. It wasn’t large, but had everything we needed and we slept well. Breakfasts were well above average, as others have mentioned, with a good selection, especially cooked options. We’d definitely recommend it and return.
