The room was clean and really comfortable, with a skylight and even a telescope. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was good. It’s a lively pub in the centre of Bellingham. Handy for walkers, though breakfast starts a bit late for the Pennine Way, and they actually suggested I eat elsewhere. Recommended.

We wanted a proper pub meal and this place hit the spot. The food and drinks had plenty of choice and tasted fresh, and I’ve never had better chips. It’s a friendly, welcoming little find, and being able to bring the dog was a big plus. Highly recommend!

We only meant to stop for a drink while staying at Kielder Waterside, but stayed on for dinner and were glad we did. The portions are huge and good value, with fantastic meals all round. The pie and doubled up burger are well worth trying. Everyone was welcoming, and sitting by the real fire on a cold winter afternoon made it feel especially cosy. I’d definitely go back.

The host was so friendly and helpful, and the Inn has a cosy, welcoming feel as soon as you arrive. I stayed one night while walking the Pennine Way. The location worked really well, and my room was very spacious and clean, with a hot shower. The food was delicious too.

After a nice walk to Hareshaw Lynn, we had a lovely home-cooked Sunday lunch. Our son is Autistic, and the staff kindly made him some toast. Everyone was lovely and friendly. We’ll definitely go back.
