Elaine at the front desk kept looking for four days, checking every possibility and asking other staff, until she tracked down the sentimental item we’d left behind through the external laundry company. We’d contacted the hotel as soon as we noticed it was missing from the room. A huge thank you to Elaine and everyone who worked so hard to get it back to us. We stayed for two nights around our wedding, and the room was a great size, clean, with a really comfortable bed. The included continental breakfast was lovely too.

We had a lovely breakfast the morning after the wedding, and the food at the wedding itself was fab. The staff were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. When we asked to switch to a room with a walk-in shower, they moved us within minutes. I stayed two nights for my niece’s wedding at the beginning of October. The weather was horrendous, so we didn’t get many pictures outside. We’d definitely come back.

Great breakfast and friendly staff, and the place was clean and tidy. I was in the area for work and it was absolutely spot on. Breakfast could start earlier for those of us heading out early, and maybe they could add haggis to the buffet, but you can’t have everything. I’d stay again, and will.

The breakfast was superb, with just the right selection. My stay was really enjoyable: the staff were helpful and super friendly, and the rooms were spacious, warm, and clean. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely staff and a great hotel. The food is really good, and they also do afternoon tea. Just be aware that some rooms can get very noisy until midnight when there are parties in the gazebo.
