The fresh white and brown bread at breakfast was a real favorite, and there was plenty else to choose from too. We only spent one night there last weekend and already wished we could stay longer. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable, with lovely countryside views, and Madeleine was a wonderful host. We’ll definitely be back.

The Holly Bush Inn is an easy walk from the farm, a lovely place to wind down after a good walk with a pint by the fireplace and a traditional, relaxed feel. It’s also a great base for exploring Amber Valley. Madeleine made me feel very welcome, and my weekend was quiet and peaceful. I had a great time and will visit again.

Breakfast had loads of choice, and the hosts had left thoughtful extras like water, jelly beans, and nice toiletries. We were three people in the ensuite room, which had a very comfortable bed, a huge bathroom, and a separate room with two single beds. Madeleine was friendly and helpful throughout. A really lovely B&B for exploring this part of the world.

We had lovely views and plenty of countryside walks nearby, and it was easy to get into Belper. The B&B was peaceful, with really spacious rooms. Madeline made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was wonderful, with all sorts to eat.

Watching the horses play in the fields made this such a peaceful little getaway. The hostess was brilliant and friendly, and made our stay feel just right.
