We stayed at Solent View 3, the best Away Resorts accommodation we’ve had. The place had plenty of room and everything we needed. From the stunning views, even on frosty January mornings, to the beach just steps away, it was a great spot, especially if you have a dog. The park facilities were closed for winter, so we can’t comment on those. Check-in was easy and staff were helpful. Leaving was just as straightforward, even though we used the key drop because we had to leave early. It’s well placed for nearby areas and points of interest. We’ll definitely stay again.

We arrived on 15 - 20 February to find the 8 berth superior caravan filthy. It smelled of stale dog urine, stains were obvious on the carpet, dog hairs covered the beds, and the sofa felt too dirty to sit on. There was nothing luxurious about this “superior” caravan. We’d called well in advance to check that it had central heating because a disabled family member needed it. We were assured it did, but the boiler was broken and, apparently, they couldn’t get an engineer out. It seemed like something they should have checked. The site looked very quiet, but we were told there were no other 8 berth superior caravans available. Later that evening we were downgraded to a 6 berth. It was cleaner, but still a huge disappointment. We had to ask someone to fix the shower straight away, and moving all our things in soaking rain was a faff. The stress and discomfort, especially for our disabled family member, ruined the first two days of our holiday. We won’t stay at this site or with the company again. After I spoke to the main desk, they offered 25% off the caravan cost and presented it as generous. That amount was simply the price difference for the 6 berth we’d been downgraded to without a choice. Absolutely appalling.

Cabin 167 in the Burst of Blue cabins was one of the nicest places we’ve stayed at a holiday park. We’d just got home after three nights there. It was clean and spacious, with the kids at the far end and their own bathroom, so we could watch TV or shower without disturbing them. There was a TV in every room, a dishwasher, and towels and bedding were supplied, all handy things to have away from home. The coastline there is beautiful, the attached beach truly stunning, and the location is ideal for exploring so much of the island. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The pool team kept us updated about sessions and the changing rooms clean and tidy. The kids loved the pool, which was a highlight. We didn’t try the entertainment or on-site food, but there seemed to be plenty available. Thanks for a great stay.

We keep coming back for the lovely private beach right by the campsite, great entertainment, fantastic staff and fun swimming facilities for the kids. The staff are so friendly and helpful, and really go above and beyond. The value chalets are the one letdown. They need renovating, and the poor cleanliness isn’t excused by the low price. I’ve seen that other people have the same problem, so please do something about it. We’ll return for everything else, but won’t stay in one of those chalets again.

We turned up with 70 people, including some kids for the evening, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. It’s a lovely location with nice chalets, and we had a very enjoyable stay.
