Hebridean Stay

We had a great stay. The rooms and living area were spacious and comfortable, the host was helpful, and there were generous breakfast provisions. Everything we needed was there.

We spent three nights in the South Uist room. It’s much more than a hostel. Everything was clean, practical and comfortable, and Andrew was a friendly, informative host. The kitchen was fabulous, with two small fridges, a coffee machine, condiments, and plenty of breakfast and snack supplies. There were comfy couches, good bed linen and lots of storage, and it was quiet. Compared with many places we’ve stayed, they really have things well organised. I’d be proud to run a place like this. 10/10. Our only comment is that we wish more places in Scotland had beds bigger than a standard double. That’s a general observation from Kiwis who aren’t used to them, not a complaint about Hebridean Stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here, a lovely place for a day or two while exploring. The rooms were quiet, the beds comfy and the towels fluffy. It’s a welcoming B&B with friendly people, and the facilities are new and modern. The kitchen is well equipped for making meals, and there’s a Co-op nearby that closes at 10pm if the restaurants don’t work out. The windows look out over beautiful, expansive views.

The host was great and came out very quickly to rescue me when I got stuck in the mud. That’s going above and beyond. Great accommodation, service and hospitality. A+ Thank you.
