The apartment is modern, spacious, and very clean, with a nice decking area where you can sit and watch what’s going on while looking up the valley sides. It’s well placed for walking around Betws y coed, with several pubs and restaurants nearby for an evening meal. There’s plenty of parking close by, including some free on-street spaces at the back, reached by crossing the footbridge. The main drawback is that there’s only one bathroom, so mornings can get chaotic with more than about four people staying. Trains can be quite noisy at 0600, and the church bells can be noisy too.

I stopped for coffee while the coach was making a stopover. It was a pleasant experience.

For what I paid, the food was awful. There are plenty of other places in the area that are worth the money.
