We were among the last guests to stay, which is such a shame. The rooms were fresh and clean, everything we needed was on hand, and the garden was beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic, with quality food, and the staff were attentive. It was a wonderful place, easily worth six stars. Best wishes to Sam and the team with their new ventures, and I hope the new owners keep up this experience. Thankyou Kateshill.

I went to an event here but didn’t stay overnight. The grounds were peaceful and lovely, with lots of places to sit, and the bar staff were really nice.

The grounds are gorgeous, and Kateshill House itself is stunning, with lots of original fixtures. Sam, Bernie and the team made us feel so welcome. The afternoon tea was fresh, generous and delicious, and cost less than similar places nearby. I’ve had worse at five star hotels. We’ll be back soon. Thankyou.

There was plenty of choice for where to sit, and we were welcomed warmly without feeling hurried. The sandwiches were freshly made just how we liked them, alongside lovely quiche, sausage rolls, scones and cake. Afternoon tea at Kateshill House was amazing. I thoroughly recommend it.

Sam was a professional, friendly host who made sure nothing was too much trouble. That really made this stay five star. The house and our room were beautiful, spacious, secure and spotless, and the beds were comfortable. Showers had good pressure, there was plenty of free parking and the internet worked great. Bewdley, the River Severn and the Worcestershire countryside are all close by, with Shropshire nearby too. We had the best breakfast of our five weeks travelling around the UK. Afternoon tea, or just coffee and cake, is a must. I can’t say enough good things and we’ll return.
