The food and service were both great, and the menu had lots of choices, especially fish dishes, which we both love. We had dinner here the other night and shared a large mussels and a hake with risotto and cherry tomatoes. Absolutely delicious, and I’ve never seen mussels so big! Staff were attentive, and the house red was nice. We’d love to come back next time we’re in the area.

We turned up without a plan and got a warm welcome and a good table by the fire. The steak was nice and cooked well, the ale on tap was good, and the wine was nice too. Staff were pleasant and attentive without hovering. A very nice place, well located about a five-minute walk from the centre. I’d recommend it.

The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. There’s good food at fair prices, with local beers on tap. I’d recommend the sea bass and risotto, which was delicious and very filling, and everyone else was happy with what they chose. It’s right by the river, within walking distance of the steam railway in Bewdley, and worth a visit if you’re in the area. I haven’t stayed at the hotel, but might consider it next time.

I stopped in for lunch today and had a lovely time. The welcome and service were friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and relaxed. The food tasted comforting and properly home-cooked, and the beer was excellent. A great spot, definitely recommend!

Lisa looked after us brilliantly when we came back to the Mug House for another lovely meal. There were five adults and a child, and everyone found something they fancied, from steak and pan-fried haddock to a burger. Our order was taken quickly and the food came out without a long wait. The place has a lovely old-world feel, especially with the real fire. We’ll be back, and I’m happy to recommend it.
