Bicester Hotel Golf and Spa

I had such a relaxing day at the spa, which I received as a gift. The staff were all lovely and helpful, and the place was great. A two-course meal was included, with lots of good options, and everything I had was delicious. I also had a massage with jillian, who was such a lovely person and amazing at her job. Thank you! I'd definitely recommend it and would love to return one day.

The spa experience wasn't relaxing. The hot tub was unavailable for most of our stay, and when we could use it, the water was lukewarm at best. The robes were extremely small and dry to the touch. Reception has to let you into the spa, which left me feeling monitored, and leftover food, cutlery and drinks bottles were left out on display tables. The hotel rooms are very outdated, and the carpet throughout was extremely dirty and lifting. We won't visit again.

Our group of 15 had a memorable evening meal at Bicester Hotel and Golf Spa. They kindly set us up in a private dining area, so the atmosphere felt relaxed and intimate. Lesley, Kira, David, and Sadie were attentive, warm and professional all evening. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and that we were looked after. Nothing felt like too much trouble. We couldn't fault the experience or the service, and would highly recommend dining here, particularly for groups wanting something special.

The facilities felt dated and weren't as clean as I'd expect. There was hair in some areas, the bins were full, and the showers didn't seem properly maintained. The visit also fell short on service and communication. When I arrived, the main entrance was closed with no signs explaining how to get in. I eventually came through a side door into the spa, where nobody greeted me, and had to ask where to go before being directed to reception. After checking in, I waited in the spa area for my treatment for what felt like a long time, with little communication. Before my visit I'd called to confirm that pool and thermal facilities were included with my treatment. On the day, staff said there'd be an extra charge and needed to clarify. After the treatment, I explained what I'd been told by phone, but reception said access would cost £60. Another staff member had earlier quoted £50, adding to the confusion. I paid after being told a refund would be arranged, but it still hasn't been processed. I was very disappointed with the whole experience.
