Home From Home B&B

Just one night here on Friday as we headed south for a week's holiday, and what a lovely B&B. The room was spotless and comfortable, with all those homely touches that make a place feel welcoming. John and Val suggested The Anchor Inn for dinner, and since we were running late, John kindly drove us there so we could still eat in time. The next morning's full English was delicious and set us up for the day. Thanks, John and Val, for being such lovely hosts. It was a pleasure meeting you both. All the best, Pat & Keith.

We had a lovely, relaxing break at Home from Home. The ensuite bedroom was just right, and the bed was very comfortable. John and Val made us feel welcome straight away, and everything we could want was there. When we needed anything else, they were only too happy to get it for us. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and amazing. We'll tell friends and family about the place and will definitely stay again. Thank you, John and Val.

Breakfast was a real highlight at John & Vals B&B. There was a wide choice of high quality items, and the cooked breakfast was first class. I enjoyed chatting with John and Val over the meal in the relaxed dining room. The name Home from Home fits. They greeted me so warmly that I felt at ease as soon as I arrived, then handed me the key to a lovely, quiet and very comfortable room. One of the best B&Bs I've stayed in. The room was spotless and really comfortable, and breakfast was fantastic. John and Val made sure I had everything I needed before setting off on the walk. I stayed here while doing the SW coast path, and the owners went above and beyond. John knows the area well and spent plenty of time advising me on places to stay farther along the coast. He also gave me a list of places to eat in the village and drove me back to the coast so I wouldn't have to add more walking. I'll make sure to come back if I'm in the area again.
