We stopped here on our motorbike ride south. We were soaked and freezing, so that hot shower was much needed, and the room was lovely too. Charles was incredibly helpful, and breakfast was nice. The location is handy for all the amenities. We’ll definitely stay again. Thanks so much.

Charles made me feel welcome as soon as I arrived, even though I was much later than planned after a long journey and a delay. He came out to the street to greet me and help with my luggage, then showed me where everything was. The blinds already drawn and a lamp left on in the room were thoughtful touches that made it feel warm and sincere. I’d booked directly, which I prefer after more than 20 years in hospitality, and the whole process had been faultless. I could tell from talking with Charles that he cared about being a good host. The cosy bedroom had everything I needed, and the bed was really comfortable, so I slept well. Breakfast was all ready, and Charles was around to chat. We had a great conversation over the meal. I’d happily recommend this cosy place and would return without hesitation. His hospitality went above and beyond. Thank you so much.

We stayed at No4 for one night while attending a nearby wedding, and our host made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It was a lovely, cosy B&B with a great atmosphere, set back from the main road so it was peaceful at night. The mattress and bedding were good quality, and the fluffy white towels and bathrobes were lovely. There was also a well-stocked tea tray with extra treats, a hair dryer, plenty of sockets and Wi-Fi. Breakfast was continental, with fresh, quality produce. Everything about the stay was excellent, and we’re looking forward to coming back.

We stayed here for a wedding at Cornhill Castle, and they kindly let us check in early. They were helpful right from the start, even sharing taxi numbers. The location is fantastic, with pubs and shops an easy walk away. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we’re planning to come back to Biggar for a couple of nights.

Charles runs a really good B&B right in the centre of Biggar, a lively little town that’s well worth stopping in. The accommodation suited our short stay, and Charles was thoughtful and welcoming. I’d recommend it, especially for the cosy bathrobes and the cafetiere in the room.
