I watched the rugby there on Saturday. The service was superb, even if the result wasn't. My fish and chips were the biggest and best portion I've ever had. Good beers, and the pub is well managed.

Paul and the other staff were super helpful, especially with the rum. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and it's a nice place to stay. There's a good choice of beers and the pub food is nice. The south coast is quick to reach, so it's a handy base for exploring the area.

It's a good village-centre pub, with the usual pub food at reasonable prices and a wide selection of beers. It has a great connection to the community, though football nights can get a bit raucous. I didn't stay overnight.

Whenever I'm in Billinghurst, I stop for a pint of Neck Oil. For some reason, it tastes better here than anywhere else. I watched Bangladesh - England Cricket there and saw some amazing points. One day I might move to Billinghurst just for The Kings Head inn, and maybe L’ollivier too.

There's a good choice of beer, and the food was lovely. My wife ordered a huge steak and said it was one of the best she'd tasted. The chef came out for a chat and was a very nice chap. We didn't stay in the rooms, so I can't rate them.
