2-bed Flat in Hamilton Square

The curved platforms leave a wider gap than usual between train and platform in some spots. Otherwise, this is a clean, easy station to get around, with helpful staff, and a fairly large interchange for the North and South Wirral lines into central Liverpool.

The lifts take you about 30 metres down to the platforms, which saves the climb on the stairs. I like this historic station from 1886, along with James Street station. Tap my local guide icon ⭐ for more historical facts and photos of Liverpool's historic places.

From this Merseyrail station you can catch trains to Liverpool, Ellesmere Port, Chester, or West Kirby. Woodside and the ferries are close by too.

I use this interchange nearly five times every week and really like its Merseyrail look and feel. The station is fully step free, and I’m fond of the design of the underground stations. We were evacuated once after being told it would only be a test. That was outside the staff's control, though, so I couldn't fairly take off a star. A very good station.
