I barely slept because of a loud machine or boiler noise through the night. The shower also stopped working halfway through. I ran it for a while first, thinking it might need time to warm up, and it seemed okay, but I still ended up with only half a shower. The mattress was cheap, hard, and lumpy, and the bedding was awful. The duvet kept sliding out of its cover, and the whole set felt like tacky rubble thrown together. Guest services made me feel like a burden, with their body language, tone, and demanding manner. There were no manners, and it felt like all they wanted was my money. This was an absolute disgrace and a waste of space. They’d be better off turning it into a car park or handing it to more experienced, qualified hoteliers. This is the sort of hotel I’d expect to find in a country with limited resources and technology. Avoid it.

The area is very quiet, there are lots of rooms, and the garden is beautiful. The bathrooms are spotless and nice. The bedsheets could do with an update, please, and a few areas need a fresh coat of paint. The man at reception was probably the nicest I’ve ever met, so kind and caring.

I had a horrible stay. The room conditions were diabolical, and I wouldn’t pay to stay here again. The receptionist was rude and unprofessional, with no manners. He told me guests couldn’t have visitors while staying at the hotel, but agreed to bend the rules if I paid him an extra £20 to let them onto the premises. He was of African origin, and I was under the impression he was drunk or intoxicated. The receptionist should be fired. There are plenty of better hotels nearby that know how to treat customers with common courtesy and humility. This is the worst place to stay or visit.

It was okay for what it is, but the cleaning could have been better. The window areas and around the sink needed more attention. When I showered, the plug popped up and it was full of old hair and very dirty. I’m not sure I’d stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I was here for four months and felt safe. The receptionists are friendly, especially mohammed and Ajit, who helped us feel secure. Management is good too.
