We’d paid for the booking and a security deposit, and were still getting check-in emails right up to the day. But when we arrived, the booking had been cancelled. No one had even told the booking agent. We were left outside with our bags at nearly 7pm on a Saturday after travelling from Devon, Manchester, and Shropshire to meet up. It felt so unsafe, and we were told the refund would take seven days. A really disgusting experience.

If you want an Air BNB, go somewhere else. You’re not welcome here.
There are newer, better-kept places nearby, and I wouldn't recommend living here long term. The building is poorly maintained: the lifts regularly stop working and the corridors are dirty. It also has lots of Airbnb lets, which bring in noisy people.
The owners were really friendly and caring, and they listened when I mentioned some improvements. There are a few small issues they’re working on, and they’ve been understanding and quick to respond. I’ll visit again.
