Premier Inn Birmingham South - Rubery

We stayed two nights while taking our grandson to Cadbury World, since home is about a four-hour drive away. Staff made the visit easy: reception was quick, and one member helped us get a room that would be as quiet as possible. We'd booked breakfast ahead and had no trouble adding the meal deal. We'd happily return.

I've stayed here before for the Rover MG show in April. The rooms are spacious and clean, and it's quiet at night. Check-in staff are helpful, and there's a big car park with plenty of room. Breakfast is fantastic, back to buffet service, with well-presented, nicely cooked food. I enjoyed the evening meal too, though I didn't think the menu was as good as it used to be.

No air conditioning, but the hotel supplied good quality fans. The cleaning standard is high, and this is one of the nicer Premier Inn sites. It's about five minutes from the M5, which made it a handy base for travelling.

The kids were thrilled by the rubber duck hunt waiting in our room, with a little prize at the end. Arthur also got a birthday card and small gift from the breakfast team when he turned six, which made him feel celebrated. Becky made the stay feel personal and memorable, and Tommy, Shane, and Sharisse were all so friendly and attentive. Every staff member we met was warm and happy to help. We used Premier Inn Birmingham Rubery as our base for a weekend in Birmingham. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and surprisingly quiet after busy days exploring, and the free parking was easy, with plenty of spaces. We'd happily come back and recommend it as a comfortable family base.
