The staff were phenomenal, and I'd stay here for another event just for them. The room needs a deep clean, though. There was a terrible smell from the toilet and shower, which staff dealt with as soon as I told them. The bedding was clean, but there was no mattress protector or pillow cover beneath the pillowcase. The bed wasn't comfortable.

The room was basic, not very clean, and the location was noisy. My husband booked a week-long work stay, and intermittent internet problems during booking led to the payment going through twice and two rooms being booked by accident. We found out when we arrived, but weren't offered a refund. Instead, they booked the room out again, so I feel they received two payments for one room. I've tried calling and messaging through Booking.com, but we're being ignored. I wouldn't book again, and I'd like a refund, please.

I was put on the third floor, and the room had a mouldy, musty smell as soon as I opened the door. The music came through the floor, so I went straight back to reception. They offered two other rooms that were even closer to the music, so I apologised and said I'd have to find another hotel. My refund request was refused, and I'm now pursuing a chargeback through my bank. Be careful booking on a Saturday if you need to sleep: although their Google profile says they close at 11pm, the DJ/music event carries on until 1am. There weren't any parking spaces as advertised, so you'll need to use a side street.

The staff were very friendly, and the beds were really comfortable. It's about a 30-minute walk from the coach station. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.
