We're locals and often eat at The Station, including their takeaway meals. Today's Sunday lunch takeaway was excellent: the pork had crisp crackling, with plenty of vegetables and a large Yorkshire pudding. It was very reasonably priced. I would have liked some apple sauce too! Well recommended.

We chose the smaller portion option for our midweek lunch, and it was plentyful. The food arrived piping hot and delicious, and the menu is well thought out, with smaller and larger sizes available for some main dishes. The dining area was clean, warm, contemporary and comfortable. Friendly, professional waitress. I'd recommend it and come back.

Both meats in our Sunday roast were cooked perfect, the vegetables were nicely done, and the portion was a good size. It was lovely, and I'll be back. Sadly, I forgot to take a pic.

The garden has covered seating, and there's plenty of room for everyone. Inside, the bar and restaurant are lovely, with a great selection of beers and ales. Service was quick and positive, and the staff were polite and attentive. I'll be back for a second visit soon.

We had supper for four, and every dish was excellent. We all chose different things, and everything was home-cooked and delicious. The service was really friendly and restrained.
