Janet was friendly and lovely, and the cottages are gorgeous. They're spacious and well equipped, with plenty of kitchen accessories. There's a lot of thought for accessibility: both shower rooms, including the ensuite, have lots of room and work well for anyone needing a wheelchair. The views are gorgeous when the clouds aren't too low. It's a great spot for walkers, with lots of places to visit nearby, and the cottages have maps and plenty of information to help plan your holiday. Dog friendly, which my daughter is always happy about. Shops are few and far between, so I'd plan meals ahead and bring your shopping. Janet does offer meals up in the B&B, and she saved us with a stock cube I'd forgotten to bring.

The views are great, and there's plenty of parking. It's a peaceful place with lots of walks nearby. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped, the owner is friendly and helpful, and the courtyard is secure for pets.

The accommodation was huge, clean, wonderful, and well equipped. We did have a bit of trouble with the WiFi in the evenings, when it was slow or wouldn't connect.

We rented both lovely cottages for our larger group, and sharing the back yard worked perfectly for sitting outside on sunny evenings. I'd highly recommend them. If you can, have dinner in the b&b. The pies are amazing.

nellie's cottage is lovely and feels really homely. we spent a fab week there, with spectacular views and a fully equipped kitchen. we hope to come back next year.
