The bar and restaurant made us and our dog Bruce feel very welcome. Bruce even had his own basket with a blanket, bowls, treats, a lead and poo bags. Our room was lovely, the food was really good with plenty of choice on the menu, and the Three Tubs ales were amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the location was great. We’ll be back!

I don’t usually write many reviews, but I’d definitely come back here. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, and dinner was fantastic and really tasty. The staff, food and room were all amazing. It’s in a great location with a lovely atmosphere, plus stunning views and a garden.

The rooms were spacious, lovely and comfortable, and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We had dinner there one evening and it was delicious. I’d definitely stay again if I needed to.

We had Room 5 and a lovely view across the town. The staff were incredibly helpful with a few special arrangements for our birthday weekend. The food was great and fairly priced, and the decor in both the rooms and public spaces felt thoughtfully done. What a wonderful place, thank you!

We stopped in for lunch, and the staff were friendly and attentive in a spotless venue with a bright, welcoming feel. The steak and ale pie was perfect, and we also had the bread and butter pudding with whiskey and marmalade sauce. A delicious white Rioja with it too. Best meal I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommend.
