We spent Monday there from 9am to 6pm, and it was wonderfully quiet. My husband and I paid £70 each for the day, including a meal and a treatment apiece. We had relaxing back massages, then lounged on a day bed in the conservatory. The pool, Jacuzzi and sauna were clean, and the gardens were lovely. Breakfast tea and coffee being included was a nice little surprise, and the food was delicious. The staff were polite and accommodating throughout. I did spot some fairly large mould patches above the saunas, which looked unpleasant, but that's my only criticism. We’ll definitely come back, and I’ve already picked out beauty treatments to try next time.

I spent the evening in the spa and found it had everything needed to switch off and unwind, whether you're with a partner, family or friends. The place is lovely and clean, with plenty of history, and the staff are kind, professional and know their stuff. The food and drinks were great too, and good value for the quality. Cedar falls health farm is fantastic, highly recommend it.

What I enjoy most about Cedar Falls is how easy it is to relax there. I spent as much of the summer there as I could, sitting by the pool or in the rose garden with a blue magic gin and tonic. It’s adults only, so there were no children shouting or screaming, and the other guests were there to unwind too. The little boutique shop is lovely, with beautiful clothes, jewelry and footwear. It has a charm of its own, and I’ve seen the family keep investing in it over the years. They clearly take pride in running this chic, family run place, with high standards of their own. The staff across the hotel are warm, helpful and caring. There are spa and golfing facilities, plus indoor and outdoor heated pools, though the outdoor one depends on the season and weather. It’s a superb countryside escape, and I enjoy coming in both summer and winter. If corporate luxury is what you’re after, this may not suit you, but I love Cedar Falls and it ticks every box for me. 💖

The food is very good, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. The treatments, including massages, are good, while the spa itself is average, with pleasant indoor and outdoor pools. The clean rooms have comfortable beds. The grand building is starting to show a few signs of needing upkeep, though in a way that adds to its character. The location and grounds are lovely, and it can be busy or quiet depending on the day visitors. Good value offers make it a relaxing place to visit. I've been coming back for more than six years, so it must have something going for it.
