Roseneath House

The hot tub and all the shared space made it easy to have a lovely evening in, with a big kitchen and dining and living areas. In summer, the grounds would be great for a BBQ. There was plenty of room for our sister’s hen weekend, and each room had its own bathroom, which made getting ready much easier. The house was spotless, with spacious rooms and large, comfortable beds. I’d recommend it to any group planning a weekend in Bristol or Bath. Paul was a really helpful host. We had the family room, which was spacious and well equipped. It had lovely views of the countryside and sunrise, plus a smart HD TV with internet access. The en suite was great, with a bath, large shower, toilet, bidet and twin sinks. Breakfast was the food on offer, and it was made with good quality produce. If you wanted anything extra, you only had to ask. The old house has been decorated with a modern touch. Our room was very clean, and the staff were genuinely helpful. The service would rival many 4-5 star hotels. I’d definitely stay again.

We hired the whole house for Christmas and had a really lovely time. There was loads of space, with massive bedrooms finished to a really high standard, and the rest of the house was spacious too. The kitchen was well equipped, though the oven temperature was hard to control and one hob wasn’t working. The hot tub outside was fantastic, with room for six, internal lights and Bluetooth speakers. Looking out at the field opposite from the tub was so relaxing. I’d strongly recommend the place and would book again.

The secluded, private garden and hot tub were lovely, and the views stretch a long way while the house still feels homely. We held our hen weekend here, and all our guests were suitably impressed. There’s a real sense of luxury, with everything you could wish for in a party house for a larger group. The owner was a perfect host and nothing was too much trouble. I’d definitely recommend renting this property. You won’t be disappointed.
