Blackpool Seaside Hotel

The bed was comfortable, the sheets were spotless white, and the shower stayed lovely and hot. I slept brilliantly and honestly didn't want to get up. Everything felt clean, warm and welcoming, with the facilities just right. From the greeting onward, I really enjoyed my stay and would book this hotel before anywhere else next time I'm in Blackpool. 10 out of 10!

The new owner gave us one of the friendliest welcomes I've had at any accommodation. We booked at the last minute for a bargain price, so I wasn't expecting much, but our top-floor room was bright, warm and clean, with an ensuite. The bed was clean too, with crisp white sheets, and really comfortable. A few things could be added, like bedside tables and lights. One curtain instead of two didn't look quite right, though this wasn't about keeping the light out. The bathroom could do with an update too, and I passed all of that on to the new owner. Still, it was well worth what we paid. The location is handy if you want Blackpool's pubs and clubs, and I'll definitely stay again when I'm back. Hopefully those little extras will be in place by then, and I can review again.

That super king bed was enormous. I could starfish across it and still didn't manage to kick the Mrs out! The bathroom was lovely too, and just over £50 for a Saturday night felt like great value. For getting around, the location is spot on for the pubs, clubs, seafront arcades and other Blackpool attractions. We went to the Winter Gardens, less than a 10-minute walk away. It was just a quick overnight stay, but I'd recommend it overall. The rough part was the bedroom decor and furniture, which have seen better days. My wife also spotted a big, crispy bogey stuck to the wall, and there was no headboard, just random red paint marks. Breakfast was okay, but at £17 for two I thought it was poor value. If I'd known there was a greggs across the road, I wouldn't have bothered. The place could use a bit of sprucing up and the bogeys need removing. Still a decent spot, especially for the location. I'll say this, pal, I don't know how I got so lucky with the Mrs. She's got it good 😉

The beach is nearby, and Sam, the manager, was kind and helpful. Great place to stay, highly recommend.
