Boomerang Blackpool

We’d already stayed with Vicky before, so when we arrived in Blackpool to find the hotel we’d booked through Booking.com had been closed for months, despite still taking our money, we called her. It was pouring and I was stressed because we had an event to get to. Vicky quickly had a room ready, and we were on our way within 20 minutes. The rooms are small and basic, but spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable, with loads of tea, coffee and milk. Vicky and Rory really are the best hosts. We’ve already booked for next year.

A simple hotel with great hosts. The location behind the Wintergardens is close to the centre, but quiet at night. We had a great time with Rory and Vicky. When we come back to Blackpool, we’ll look for a room at the Boomerang.

I come to Blackpool every year for the Magic convention, and after trying different hotels near the Winter Gardens, the Boomerang has been my favourite so far. Vicky, the landlady, is genuinely lovely and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. My room was basic but had everything I needed. It was quiet despite being near town, a good place to rest, and the bed was super comfy. The mini fridge was really useful. I only missed having a bedside lamp. Thanks, Vicky, for making the stay pleasant, and for bringing me water when I was stuck in bed with a horrible hangover and migraine. You saved me! See you next year 😀

We had a brilliant time celebrating my sister’s 60th birthday with her three nieces. We shared room 7, which was spotless, had very comfy beds, and plenty of space for all of us. Vicky and Rory were so welcoming, and we played darts and pool, then had an impromptu karaoke session. We’ll be back with the kids and partners. When we arrived late, there was no parking nearby, so Rory directed us to the multi-storey above the shopping mall. It cost a bit, but felt worth it for the 24-hour security. Thank you both xxx
