I was only stopping briefly to get directions to somewhere else, and the owners came out shouting within seconds. I didn't get out of my car, and there wasn't a chance to ask about parking on their drive. We didn't know where the hotel was, so I couldn't park where they expected me to. I tried to calm things down, but it went nowhere. I was called a C word and worse, and they accused me of being homophobic, verbally abusive and physically abusive. I'm gay myself, and I don't see how I could have been physically abusive from inside my car. They also said racist things about the Asian lady next door. I say the owner threw coffee at her and it went all over the car parked there. They mentioned an agreement from two weeks ago that had nothing to do with me. I wasn't trying to park there permanently, since I wasn't staying at the hotel. They have CCTV outside, so they could show it to everyone and let people see what happened. I don't expect it will be posted, because it would show me not being homophobic and the owner being aggressive and throwing coffee. Nothing in their reply mentions the coffee thrown at the woman, despite accusing us of being physically abusive. I wasn't there to park permanently, and I tried to calm things down without success. The truth will come out. They should be embarrassed. Another edit: sorry about your mum, but you did throw coffee at the woman next door, didn't you? Avoid at all costs. 0/10, and I'd give lower if I could. What a welcome to Blackpool.

John & Glyn were lovely hosts, and nothing felt like too much trouble. The room was tidy and clean, with a warm, very comfortable bed. Breakfast was freshly cooked to a high standard. Anthony & I had a wonderful stay, even if it was only two short days. We can't rate the hotel highly enough and will definitely stay again. Thank you, John & Glyn.

John and Glyn are amazing hosts, and we felt at home right away. Our room was spotless and had everything we needed, and breakfast was lovely. It's close to everything, with ideal car parking. We had a fabulous time and are looking forward to going back. Highly recommend it.

The bed was so comfortable that I slept really well, and the room was lovely, with amazing facilities and a shower to die for. The hosts were warm and welcoming, always ready to help and never made anything a problem. Every covid precaution was spot on. It's a great location for the beach, Coral Island and more. Highly recommend, and I'll certainly be back.

The children found the beds very uncomfortable, and the rooms had mould. The kitchen was very dirty, the water green, and the drains smelled bad. The food was poorly cooked with very cheap ingredients, despite the five-star food hygiene sticker. There were no slip mats in the shower cubicle, which was very slippery. Pete made rude, inappropriate comments to a woman, smelled very bad, and didn't change his clothes during the full 10 days. I had a bad experience, but with children and nowhere else to go, I had to stay. Housekeeping was fantastic, though I believe she was overworked while Pete just sat looking at his laptop.
