The lady was rude and made me feel uncomfortable. When we asked where a place was, she pointed to a local map in a box, said she didn't understand, then huffed and slapped it into my hand. The room itself was awful, with a dirty pillow and pulled-back bedding, plus brown stains on the sheet. We were moved to another room, but honestly it wasn't much better. Don't stay here. You could pay another 10 or 15 further up the road and avoid these problems.

We only stayed because it was too late to find somewhere else during the Finland fireworks. My sister-in-law had booked one night for herself, me and the kids, and we're not fussy, but this was hard to make do with. As soon as we arrived there was a smell like dog urine. The woman, who I assume was the owner, was pleasant enough, though she didn't present herself very well. We were offered tea or coffee each for the morning, given the keys and shown to the room. The room needed a hoover, with bits, bobbles and wrappers across the floor. The toilet top and sink were grimy, the brewing station was sticky, and one of the beds hadn't been made. We just left our things and went straight out, then had a few drinks on the pier to soften the thought of coming back. We got up early and couldn't wait to leave. The location was what attracted my sister-in-law, and there's a lovely cafe around the corner where we had breakfast in a really clean setting. It's called Walkers, and I highly recommend it. But I'd avoid this place in future. It shouldn't be allowed to stay open.

There was mould in the bathroom and the room was dirty. The wallpaper was torn in several places, and the bathroom light didn't work. I left my jacket in the wardrobe, which was my mistake, but they've been very unhelpful about getting it back and have ignored my calls and messages. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

For a cheap price, it was very average. The room was clean, but the bed was hard and the service was nothing special. Check-in had to be very early, and Hotels.com falsely advertises breakfast as free. I never saw any dogs, though there was a really bad smell when you walked in. I'd give it a 3 for the price and cleanliness. They could be more accommodating.
