After another place let us down, we found the Surrey House Hotel. Julie, the owner, welcomed us and got two rooms sorted in moments. They were large, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and tea, coffee and biscuits provided. The full English breakfast was excellent, with cereal, juices, fresh fruit and loads of teas to choose from. Julie and Kev are two of the nicest people you'll meet, and made sure our stay was enjoyable and hassle-free. Thanks to both of you, hope to see you again.

The rooms were spacious, with comfy beds, and the location was good. The owners were wonderful and breakfast was great. We did have a couple of small issues: our door was warped, so locking it was difficult, and the toilet seat came off. Both seem easy to fix. I do recommend it.

The owners were very polite, and the hotel was lovely. Our room was nice and the beds were really comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too, with options for people with special dietary requirements. We'll definitely come back.

Julie and Kev were such kind, lovely hosts and made us feel right at home. The rooms were fantastic, they were helpful with ideas for things to do and places to go, and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was outstanding. It was our first stay at the surrey house, but it won't be our last. We'd highly recommend this welcoming place to everyone 🙂 The Griffiths family

The owners were friendly and accommodating, and breakfast was nice. We had a clean, warm room with a really comfortable bed. I'd definitely return.
