The Glenroy

The nautical theme in the rooms is interesting, and the hotel is just a minute from the promenade. Pat takes real pride in the place, and everything was spotlessly clean. He’s an excellent host, and the breakfast was excellent too. Thoroughly recommend.

We stayed in the ground-floor flats at The Jubilee next to The Glenroy, and they were very decent. Pat owns and runs The Glenroy and manages the whole operation, and we had breakfast there every morning. He and his colleagues were wonderfully friendly and accommodating. It’s a great little find, just a few metres from the seafront on a relatively quiet side street. I’d highly recommend it as a base for a few days in Blackpool.

I was in Blackpool for a month studying for my exam and stayed at the Glenroy Hotel for that whole time. Pat, the host, made sure I felt comfortable and right at home throughout. He’s one of the kindest people I’ve met. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and I didn’t have any problems at all. Thanks to Pat and Heather for making it such a lovely stay. I’ll definitely visit again!

Another fantastic stay, and we keep coming back to the same place. The room was clean and tidy, and the service was second to none. Pat knows his business, but still makes you feel part of the family. Can’t wait for next year. Look after yourself, Pat. No one could replace this host.
