The Rutland

Everyone was happy with our stay, including our six-year-old, our three-month-old, my partner and me. Kay and Adrian were so friendly and kind, and the place was clean and welcoming. Great location too. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Blackpool.

We brought the car, and since only two free parking spots were available, we parked about 10 yards away for £10 a day. That seemed cheap compared with other car parks. Fay and Adrian were friendly and helpful with information, and Fay, the owner, greeted us when we arrived. We spent a very pleasant four days at the Rutland. Our second-floor sea-view double was small but adequate, breakfast had a very good menu, and there was a large bar area. I’d recommend it for a relaxing break.

Kay and Adrian were lovely hosts and made us feel right at home. We’d definitely return. The hotel was spotless, and it was nice to have a bar with a lovely view over the promenade and sea. We booked a last-minute two-night getaway and found the room clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We had the full English both mornings, though a continental option was available too.

The room looked straight out onto the road and towards the sea, which was perfect for me. I loved my stay and can’t thank the two of you enough. I’m sure the owners will remember me for a long time! The hosts were very accommodating, the room was clean, and the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve slept in away from home. I couldn’t fault the hotel.
