School Farm

We had one cooked breakfast and one pancakes, and both were excellent and kept us going for the rest of the day. Our lovely downstairs room was beautifully decorated, with plenty of tea and coffee choices, a jar of biscuits and a chocolate each. Thanks to Debbie and Nigel for making our short visit so enjoyable. We'd happily find an excuse to come back.

Debbie and her husband made us feel so cared for. We came with my husband and our almost 10-month-old baby, and they were incredibly helpful and accommodating. The stay was more than we'd expected, and the breakfast was excellent, made with local ingredients. We made wonderful human connections, too. It's a perfect gateway, and I'll recommend it to all my friends.

The little personal details in our delightful room were lovely, from the fresh flowers and shower gel to the small box of things we might need. Debbie was a perfect host, and the breakfast was amazing, with fresh fruit, homemade bread and marmalade. It really felt like breakfast with friends, and we've already booked again for next year with one of the guests we met. We had a fabulous 4 night stay. The New Inn, our 'local' for the stay, is just a 4 minute walk away, and Coco's Coffee & Fashion in the village is delightful. Walks start right on the doorstep, and Yeo Valley's Organic Garden is well worth a visit. One afternoon we made tea and sat in the orchard with a couple of books from the guest lounge while planning the next day. Thank you, Debbie. See you next year :-)

My family and I stayed here the night before my wedding, and Debbie and Nigel were the loveliest hosts. Debbie added lots of thoughtful touches to my room and was completely happy for all my bridesmaids and makeup team to take over the dining room in the morning. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast was delicious. I really recommend staying here, and I know I'll come back with my new husband!
