Dinner was one of the nicest meals I've ever had. Nigel is such a talented chef, and Gary and Nigel are warm, friendly, attentive hosts. Ivybank Lodge is a special place, with immaculate rooms that have everything you might need. The building is beautifully decorated with period furniture, and the two snugs are perfect for relaxing with a drink. We found our place and can't wait to come back. Thanks for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

I wish we'd booked more than two nights. Ivybank Lodge looked beautiful and festive for Christmas, and the room was spotless, perfectly presented and had everything we needed. Gary was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable, while Nigel was a charming, fabulous cook who brought the Christmas magic. We couldn't have asked for better hosts. I left a little piece of my heart there and will definitely go back to reclaim it. 100% recommend.

The hosts made our stay a joy, and they even provided a fabulous gluten-free breakfast for me as someone with coeliac disease. Breakfast was superb. The gorgeous rooms and beautifully decorated lodge make this an outstanding place to stay. We'll definitely return.

The breakfast selection, presentation and quality were incredible. I'd never tried soup for breakfast before, but it was absolutely delicious. The rooms were amazing and comfortable, with quality products, and the whole house was immaculate with stunning decor and attention to detail. Gary and Nigel were perfect hosts during our wonderful overnight stay. You've created a lovely place, and we'd love to stay again when we're in the area.

Our group of three was genuinely impressed by the scrumptious breakfast and the care put into every detail of the guest experience and decor. This grand, characterful building makes for an impeccable bed and breakfast. My neighbour Deirdre recommended it highly. Thanks, Nigel & Gary, for a wonderful memory. We'll be back!
