The restaurant was very good, and breakfast was cooked fresh to order with local ingredients. You could have as much as you wanted, no problem. We got more than we expected for the competitive price: good food, a fresh bed and pillows, and a lovely pub in a nice village. I’d stay again and recommend it to friends. The accommodation is a little dated in places, which is the only reason I haven’t given five stars. Still, it’s well worth a visit.

Breakfast had loads of choice and was delicious, and the beds were super comfortable. We stayed one night in this quaint little B&B. The hosts made us feel very welcome, and our clean, cosy room had tea and coffee, biscuits, bottled water and a hairdryer. Highly recommended.

The pepper sauce was creamy without taking over, and the sides were great. Even the salad had clearly had some thought put into it, with pomegranate seeds and special tomatoes. My steak was juicy and cooked just right. Really good all round!

A cosy local pub with friendly staff and good pub food. There's a broad drinks selection, including real ale that's kept well. They also hold a local folk music session every other Sunday afternoon.

Takeaway pizzas here are fantastic, and the food in the pub is great too. Add good beer, a lovely atmosphere and really good service, and it's easy to recommend. What more could you want?
