Virginia House Bed and Breakfast

Mike and Barbara went out of their way to make the stay feel safe and comfortable, and all the small details made the room feel even more welcoming than home. It was spotless, and breakfast was delicious. My fiancé and I came from London to explore the Cotswolds, and everything from check-in through breakfast was just right. Mike and Barbara are genuinely lovely hosts. Thanks to you both for the kind hospitality and for making our stay so special.

The whole place was immaculate, and breakfast had loads of choice, including a special option. I was warmly welcomed by Mike and Barbara last weekend. The room was comfortable and beautiful, with nice toiletries, a Nespresso machine and homemade shortbread. I’d definitely stay again.

Mike and Barbara were so attentive and polite, and we can’t wait to return. My husband and I stayed a few months ago. The rooms were spacious, spotless and nicely decorated, with all the amenities we needed.

The location was lovely and quiet, with a great pub down the road. My room was bright, clean and tidy, just like the pictures, and the design was tasteful. For a work traveller like me, who’s stayed in many places, this was the best so far. Every detail felt carefully handled, and the place felt like home. Money well spent. Barbara was kind, helpful and hospitable, and her French toast with blueberries was delicious. I’m still dreaming about it. You can tell the people here have put their heart into the place. I’m glad I chose it, and I hope to come back for another relaxing stay and a magnificent breakfast. Congratulations to the lovely couple, and thank you for everything. Keep those standards high! I often find hotels and guest houses in England mediocre or awful, with prices that feel too high and service below average. This place was a welcome exception. I’d recommend it over anywhere else in the country. I can’t believe anyone gave it less than five stars.
