The quiet setting was easy to reach, and the directions were simple to follow. We spent plenty of time on the comfy sofas, with the smart TV and fast Wi-Fi. The complimentary scones and the world’s comfiest bed were highlights, along with the best view. A really relaxing, enjoyable anniversary weekend. We’ll definitely return.

We made the most of the week, but honestly could have lived here forever. The lodge has everything you need, including a hot tub, and the decking gave us great views while staying nice and private. There are two quarries you can swim in, though we weren’t brave enough to take the plunge in April. We absolutely love the lodge and the surrounding area. Tor Down Quarry is a peaceful, well-equipped place in a great location, and I can’t recommend it enough.

Kirsty kindly let us check in early after our long drive, and checked in on us when she was passing. We made full use of the hot tub. The location is beautiful, the price was reasonable, and we had everything we needed. No complaints!

We had a wonderful week at Branock with family, celebrating a 50th. Kirsty has thought of everything, even delicious treats for the dogs. The lakes, scenery and gorgeous lodge made this a lovely escape. I really don’t want to leave.

The private hot tub was just right at the end of each day. We found the cottage large and spacious, with high-quality facilities, and every day there felt totally relaxing. Even the poor weather didn’t spoil our enjoyment. A brilliant place to stay.
