We spent a week here with our three kids and were pleasantly surprised after reading some reviews that made us a bit sceptical. The park was clean and tidy, the caravans were clean, and the pools were fab. The kids loved the entertainment, which was brilliant but not packed full, so they still had time to chill. The park itself was good for them too. Restaurant food was okay and suited the price. Riverside is a brilliant, family-oriented place. Oliver in the arcade and Declan the entertainer went above and beyond to make our kids feel special. The site wasn’t busy, which really helped our two kids with SEN, and we didn’t have to do the dreaded advance booking for activities like at Butlins or Haven. There wasn’t much cooking gear in the caravan, though: one tiny saucepan, one small oven tray, and no frying pan. We’d definitely return. Thank you.

The worst part was the noise. Families on both sides let their kids play outside at 5:30am, and cars raced around the car parks near the industrial estate until after 3am every night. The clubhouse was nice, but full of people who weren’t staying on site and didn’t seem to consider others. The smoking area is through a door right beside the stage, so smoke was constantly in the air. We also saw underage kids vaping inside, and staff did nothing. Our caravan was described as Comfort Plus or Silver, but it was very dated. Some furniture was broken, the carpets were filthy, and mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable and stained in every room. The windows wouldn’t close fully, leaving a draft. Linen cost £50, though we’d brought our own. Check-in staff seemed vague and uninterested, but we got our keys and welcome pack. The reception staff didn’t seem to care about our complaints at checkout, when we left a day early and explained why. They simply said, “Have a nice day.” I’d read mixed reviews and hoped the better ones were right, but sadly they weren’t. Never ever again. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Annie at reception was brilliant, friendly, helpful, and full of useful information. Our caravan was clearly well used, with some worn spots, but everything worked. It could have done with a much deeper clean, as a few corners and little spaces were quite messy. We also struggled to find hanging space, though suction cup hooks sorted that out. The clubhouse is small but neat, with bingo, live music, arcades, and soft play. There's an adventure playground nearby and a big green with a goal net for penalty shots. We didn't use the pool or laundry, so can't comment on those. Shops are handy too: Sainsbury's and Tescos are about an 8-9 minute walk away, and petrol was 1.57 per litre for four star when we were there. The Riverside Caravan Park is well placed for the Bognor Regis seafront, pier, and shops, as well as Arundel Castle, WWT Wetlands reserve, Worthing, Littlehampton, Chichester, and Fontwell Park if you fancy a flutter on the gee gees. We had a great stay, and it suited what we needed in the area.

Our caravan at HW63 turned out to be a great spot with kids: the pool entrance was opposite, the arcade, restaurant, and entertainment hall were about two minutes away, and the play park took around five minutes to reach. We booked two bedrooms but were upgraded to three. The kids loved being so close to everything, and that convenience made the trip much easier. We were a bit apprehensive after reading some bad reviews, so we brought sleeping bags instead of paying for bedding. Check-in was easy. The outside of the caravan looked like it needed a scrub, and inside the carpet showed plenty of use, but it was fine for a Bronze at ParkDean or Haven. We wore sandals indoors. There were a few small marks on the sofa, the mattresses were stain-free, and my wife still insisted on putting our own sheets under the sleeping bags. Everything was acceptable and better than we'd expected from those reviews. September was wonderfully quiet. My two and seven year olds had the soft play to themselves each time, and the arcade was peaceful with plenty of ticket games. The restaurant, toilets, soft play, and arcade were spotlessly clean, food was reasonably priced, and staff were warm and friendly. The pool was nicely warm, including the jacuzzi bubble area. The times listed were pool 10am-5pm, arcades and soft play 10am-9pm, breakfast 9am-11:30, lunch from noon, and dinner 5pm-9pm. There was also a bar entertainment area and a main theatre. To get to those areas, apart from the pool, you have to go through the arcade. Compared with ParkDean or Haven, this place holds its own. Tesco and fast food places, including KFC and McDonald’s, are just around the corner. I added photos because I found it hard to get a clear idea while researching. Hopefully they'll help others know what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised and would happily return.

At £200 for three nights from the 8th August, I'd give it five stars. If I'd paid the usual £500.00, I'd have been disappointed and cross. The caravan was clean, though more worn than you'd expect. For what we paid, it was more than acceptable. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were lovely, and the outdoor pool was warm, but the children's pool was dirty. We didn't eat at the restaurant. The entertainment staff tried their best, but equipment problems, including the sound, got in the way. Bingo was there, and the singer was pretty standard. The Tina Turner tribute and Arctic Monkeys and Killers were very good. The arcade was okay, though the pool cues were broken. A pint cost 6 quid, and the bar staff were a mixed bag. Reception staff weren't very helpful or knowledgeable about event times, which isn't great for the front line of a hospitality business. At anything above £200 for those three nights, I'd rate it three stars.
