We booked months ahead because we were travelling for a concert, then got let down just two days before our stay. The only explanation was “we are closed.” Having read the other reviews, maybe that was a blessing in disguise. Hopefully this dive is closing for good. Avoid it at all costs.

There was a party downstairs all night, so it was hard to get any rest. Birds were flying around the room, scaring people and leaving poo on personal belongings. The bathroom doors and one of the rented room doors had no locks, which felt unsafe. The landlord gave us a key to the room but none for the main entrance, so we couldn’t access the building properly. There was blood on bathroom doors on the top floor. It felt like a scary Halloween place. Great stay, 5 stars, LOL 😂🤣. DO NOT GO TO THE HAUTED LUXURIOUS STAY EVER

The morning shower was a problem because there was no hot water. Getting into the building had been just as bad: after booking, I received no entry instructions. Luckily, the cleaner was still there when I arrived and let me into reception. I then waited about an hour before getting my room key. The customer service was poor.

The walls were filthy, the bedding was dirty, and there was no TV aerial. It felt like a dirty hovel with hardly any effort put into cleaning. Only stay here if you're absolutely desperate.

The entrance door looked as if someone had broken in. We booked at 3pm, then tried several times to reach the owner before getting a message saying the room might be ready at 4pm. Avoid at all costs.
