We enjoyed chatting with Vanessa about the local community, and she gave us useful information about trails to explore. Her home and the decorations throughout are charming. Our room was wonderfully spacious, and breakfast was well prepared.

The building itself is amazing, and the staff and owners were wonderful. Our room was large and perfectly clean, with lovely little extras, including cakes on arrival. The bathroom was spacious and finished to a really high standard. We had a great stay, and I can’t fault this B&B.

This made a wonderful base for exploring Cornwall and St Ives, in a lovely area. The town has a charming church overlooking the sea, plus a small stream through the centre, with restaurants and pubs nearby. The B&B has just a few rooms, a garden and parking. Our room was smart, with nice touches like fancy soaps, a great collection of new books and good DVDs to watch in bed. Breakfast was carefully prepared, with good coffee and orange juice alongside the full English. We were really happy with everything.

We were so glad to find the shortbread in our room and tea in the afternoon after each day walking the beautiful Cornish coast. The food was very, very good, and John and Delyth were such wonderful hosts. The Old Parsonage is peaceful, with spacious rooms, comfortable beds and updated bathrooms that had everything we needed. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this lovely B&B.

The hostesses welcome you like family, and they’re simply amazing and gracious. The Old Parsonage is a charming building and a real oasis of peace and calm. Our rooms were spotlessly clean, the beds and pillows wonderfully comfortable, and the showers had very powerful pressure. High-end toiletries were provided in the bathrooms. Breakfast was fresh, home-cooked and sumptuous. We stayed last year and can’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you, Margaret and Morag. We can’t wait to come back! :-)
