The place works well for a big group, with lots of different rooms where you can tuck away and get some breathing space. The hot tub is lovely and well away from the neighbours. The noise rules felt intensely strict and quite restrictive. It's a clean, tidy place in a lovely setting, in a beautiful old house. The themed rooms are great fun, though some decor choices are questionable and verge on offensive, especially the Native Indian items. Some of the beds could use more structure. Two were so soft they were difficult to sleep in, and I could only sleep in a sort of sitting position.

We spent a long weekend here with fourteen people in seven luxurious, individual rooms. It's a fantastic spot for a break. The old Manor House has loads of character and is decorated very stylishly.

There was plenty of room for the family. Comfort was mixed, though: some beds were really comfortable and others weren't, and the heating worked well in some rooms but not the rest. The decor's a matter of taste.
