The Firs Country Park

The only real problem was the TV setup. It’s a small smart TV facing a little sofa that we couldn’t sit on comfortably, so we moved the dining table and sofa around to see some of the screen from the bed. Apart from that, we had such a nice stay and will definitely return. The pod had everything we could want, with pretty fairy lights outside and a nice modern interior. The owners have excellent taste. The hot tub was lovely, and a kind staff member got it set up as soon as we arrived and gave us tips for the fire. The staff were so helpful whenever we called with a question. The site is peaceful and surrounded by fields, yet only five minutes from shops and restaurants. We caught a fish during our one-night stay, but fishing was just an added bonus for us, not the main reason to choose the place. I don’t often review places, but we were so impressed that I had to.

We had such a fun one-night stay, and the pod was beautiful and well equipped. The location was peaceful, with lovely scenery, and the staff were very helpful. We relaxed in the hot tub and did some fishing at the lake, where we caught five fish! We’ll definitely come back. POD 2. The Preston’s. Thank you.

The woods are right on the doorstep, with beautiful scenery and paths where you can walk for miles. My husband enjoyed the fishing, and I loved the hot tub. The lodge was beautiful, and we slept comfortably. Everything was faultless from start to finish. It was the perfect break to chill and relax. Highly recommend, 10 out of 10 x'xx.

The house and grounds are stunning. We shared pictures on Facebook, and so many people asked where we’d stayed. It’s a beautiful place, and we’d definitely book again.
