The hot and cold buffet was excellent, and breakfast was great quality too. Catherine, the evening manager, was pleasant and efficient, checking that the food and drinks were running smoothly. While we were planning a surprise birthday party for my Mum over a weekend here last week, General Manager Laura was pleasant and accommodating. Her staff were all lovely, and they gave us plenty of time to decorate the suite. I’d definitely recommend The White Hart for any occasion. 😊

This was our second visit in six months, which is unusual for us, and we’d recommend the hotel. The excellent Indian restaurant "Bombay Brasserie" may have had something to do with the return visit. It’s a small hotel in the town centre, with free parking, a bar and restaurant downstairs, and friendly, accommodating staff. It was exceptionally clean, with an excellent housekeeping team. The dog-friendly rooms come with a bowl, treats, a toy and poo bags. Breakfast was good, though pricey for the area. On some Saturdays there’s a market in the town square, a two-minute walk away, where you can get a bacon butty and a cup of tea. There’s also a weatherspoons across the road for breakfast. The car park is just a gravel patch next to a walkway, and I’d like to see it lit up, perhaps with a barrier or chain to improve security for hotel guests. It may be a three star hotel, but the experience was 10/10.

Breakfast surprised me in the best way: the vegan sausages are worth trying, even if you usually go for bacon. The hotel welcomes dogs, too. Our room was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated, with everything we needed, including a radio. The bathroom had underfloor heating, which made getting out of the bath or shower much nicer. If you're sensitive to outside noise, bring earplugs.

The location made it easy to enjoy the lovely architecture nearby, including St. Botolphs church, and we’d happily come back. We were in a double room on saturday 25th october for a play at the lovely blackfriars theatre. The welcome was warm, and our room looked out over the river. A lamp was already on, and classic fm was playing softly on the radio when we arrived. The room was spotless and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you all.

Frampton Marsh is well worth a visit, and so is Frampton village. The Boston Stump is stunning ❤️. The White Hart was part of a special trip for Mum, who grew up here and had always dreamed of staying there. It lived up to her expectations, and we loved it too. We had very nice meals and the best passion fruit martini in the whole of England. We retraced her childhood walks with Nanna down Emery Lane, visiting her great aunts who lived down Dolphin land next to the Freemasons’ building. Mum also worked as a waitress at Tate’s, so it was lovely to share those memories with her. A big thank you to Mickey, Magda, Gabby and Emma, as well as the gentleman serving breakfast, for their attention, help and care. The hotel is clearly popular and has plenty going on, including jiving on a Friday night, I believe. It’s incredibly central.
